Fågellåda aka. CheckenBox
The ChickenBox (swedish name: Fågellåda) was built to my dear friend Kristian Borgstedt. Kristian is like me, a sound-gadget-nerd, and I wanted to build him a unique little machine that was fun and sounded cool.
I used a train sound DIY kit (Pierre Schaeffer in memoriam :-) ) that I built and then circuit bended. The heart shaped, metalbox was a gift from my 'too be' mother-in-law. It turned out quite nice as the train sounds sometimes now sounds a little like chickens squeaking. The modifications is done with two screws as touch controls, a knob as speed control, and buttons to fire off the sounds.
The box was given to Kristian at the NorbergFestival 2006 (NBF 7.06), in Norberg, Sweden. The pictures are from when he tried it out the first time.
Soon, there should be some sounding examples too.
